Danish National Radio Choirs
Sara Mohr-Pietsch hears from members of the Danish National Radio Choirs about Niels Gade's Comala and finds out about a choral methodology called the Intelligent Choir.
Sara Mohr Pietsch unpacks the pure Nordic sound they're well known for producing with members of the Danish National Vocal Ensemble and Danish National Concert Choir. There's a chance to hear the choirs in action in a recent concert performance under conductor Laurence Equilbey, of a Danish rarity, Niels Gade's "Comala". And Sara talks to singer and choral leader Siri Myggen about a choral methodology created by Professor Jim Daus HjernΓΈe for popular genres of music, called "The Intelligent Choir" and finds out from Siri how studying this system inspires her work with the vocal group she founded "Echoes in Veil".
