It's Film Day with a review of 20th Century Women, plus Janice Forsyth talks to its director Mike Mills and star Annette Bening.

It's film day: we'll discuss the much anticipated 20th Century Women - Mike Mills' poignant new film about family and identity: we'll also hear from the director himself, and from the star of the film, Annette Bening.

Regular Critics, Graeme Virtue & Eddie Harrison will share their thoughts on it, and on this week's big cinema releases: including Ang Lee's remarkable new film, BILLY LYNN'S LONG HALFTIME WALK - we also have an interview with Ang Lee himself, talking about this, his US war drama about a group of soldiers who go back home for a victory tour after surviving a battle in Iraq.

They will also review The Lego Batman Movie! Will Arnett returns as the self-centred Caped Crusader in this super CGI spinoff - the follow-up to the wildly entertaining The Lego Movie. It's a witty and dazzling animated superhero caper that even dares to mock its own hero's raging ego!

Later in the show, we have Una Healey - Irish singer-songwriter, musician, and television presenter, in session.

And author Hunter Davies - discusses "The Co-op's Got Bananas! - his memoir of Growing up in the Post-War North"

All that and much more, from two o'clock on Thursday, here on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland

Don't Miss it!
