The UK will not retain "partial" membership of the EU once it leaves, Theresa May will say in her much-anticipated Brexit speech. The Prime Minister is expected to declare her commitment to a so called "Hard Brexit with priority on controlling migration over maintaining an economic union.
KAYE: How important is controlling migration to you?

The Scottish Government would like to see the number of free nursery hours doubled by 2020 and this week sees the launch of three pilot schemes across the country to look at how they can make the current and future government funded provision more flexible.

Annie Dow was born 26 years ago with what was described then as a 'mild mental disability' but no one knew quite why. It was a medical mystery and remained so for the first 13 years of her life. Then along came Professor David Fitzpatrick who used breakthrough genetics technology to diagnose a problem so rare he named it Annie's Syndrome. Today, Professor Fitzpatrick is confident that within a few years he will find out why Annie has twenty five deleted chromosomes and, along with Annie's Mum Sophie Dow, believes this will further our understanding of learning disabilities and identify other 'Annie's'.

Scientists at the University of Dundee believe that they can produce a cure for acne. But what's the psychological impact of having acne?
