Don't Know Much - The Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil Story

Patrick Kielty visits songwriters Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil at their Californian home, in an exclusive interview about their life and work, and what their songs mean to them.

What do the hit songs "On Broadway", "I Just Can't Help Believing", "Walking In The Rain", "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place", "Saturday Night At The Movies", "Here You Come Again" and "You've Lost That Lovin Feeling" have in common? They were all written by the same dynamic duo - Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann.

It was a match made in heaven in the 1960s - and as well as a string of chart success, so too blossomed a loving relationship.

From their time working with Carole King, Gerry Goffin and Neil Sedaka, to giving Dolly Parton her first crossover hit, Cynthia and Barry's songs have created a soundtrack to many people's lives.

In an exclusive interview, Patrick Kielty visits the couple at their home in Los Angeles, to find out the secrets of their success - both in songwriting and relationships.
