Janice Forsyth talks to Bafta award-winning actress Kate Dickie about the launch of a new Scottish Youth Theatre National Ensemble to mark the company's 40th anniversary.
Today is Scottish Youth Theatre's 40th Anniversary. Scottish BAFTA-winning actress Kate Dickie, Scottish Youth Theatre CEO Jacky Hardacre and Artistic Director Mary McCluskey will mark it by announcing registration for a new National Ensemble formally open on the show.

'Whistle My Lad II' is a crowdfunded sequel to BAFTA-nominated period drama which was screened at Cannes. The film's producer Richard Burke and lead actress Christy Robinson talk about why they think this film should be made, why they decided to go down the crowdfunding route and we ask if the cultural community and public are sick of crowdfunding projects.
