Brian struggles to look on the bright side, and Pip keeps Toby's feet on the ground.
A crowd gathers for the Farm Walk at Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Farm. Alice is there and clocks Brian's negativity towards the event and the methods it's showcasing. Meanwhile, David tries to reassure a nervous Pip about speaking to the large group of experienced farmers.
Later, Alice bumps into Toby in the village shop. Alice voices her surprise at Toby's absence at the Farm Walk. With David there, Toby gave it a wide berth but tonight's he's cooking Pip a special meal. Toby tells Alice he's going to be Priscilla the goose in the Christmas Show. Alice happily informs him that the show is no longer anything to do with her.
David is impressed with the turn out for the Farm Walk while Brian is reluctant to call it a success. He sees it as preaching to the converted. He accepts they need to look after the soil but sees the herbal leys and mob grazing practices as worthy and unsustainable.
Pip enthusiastically recounts to Toby how the Farm Walk went. She would have liked him to have been there. Toby presents her with a new batch of his artisan gin. It tastes good and Toby excitedly looks forward to making his fortune. Pip warns him not to get carried away. First, he needs to try it out on more people however, she would prefer it if her family didn't find out just yet.
