Eddie comes up with an idea for his and Clarrie's 35th wedding anniversary - he can organise a day off for Clarrie and they can have a slap up dinner with one of the left over turkeys that were raised for Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, Joe thinks they should sell some single variety cider to help make ends meet. Eddie's not sure but nevertheless they go in search of Borsertshire Beauty apples around Ambridge.

While joining Alastair on his rounds, Anisha assesses Bartleby. She suggests a new treatment which could be done at a discounted rate. Joe spurs Alastair on move forward on setting up a partnership with Anisha.

Shula reports to Elizabeth that her and Alistair's relationship is much better now than earlier in the year. The changes Alistair is looking to make to his vet practice has brought them closer together. Then, Shula discloses the feelings she had for Richard Locke. She now realises they were pure fantasy but Elizabeth is still shocked at her sister's revelation.
