Rex has the final word, and Kirsty despairs at the panto audition.
Rex goes to visit Pip to pass on a message for Toby: they're having a meeting this afternoon to discern what to do with Upper Class Eggs. Pip tries to get Rex to audition for Mother Goose, but he won't be involved if Toby is.
Toby is too busy experimenting with his artisan drinks to go along to the crucial Upper Class Eggs meeting with Josh and Rex. Toby intends to let Rex squirm until he realises that he needs Toby much more than Toby needs him. Toby's first batch of flavoured alcohol is a moderate success.
Alice and Kirsty talk over the difficulties of getting Mother Goose off the ground as they wait for people to arrive for the audition. Rex comes along to see how things are going. The only other person who turns, much to Kirsty's horror, is Rob. Rex gets a call from Toby and leaves, Kirsty quickly follows.
Outside, Rex tells Toby that Upper Class Eggs is being wound down. Surprised Toby says he can't do this, they're family after all. Rex is firm; it was never going to work and now Toby can go his own way like he's always wanted.
