The 15-year-old Northampton schoolgirl was inspired by watching Ellie Simmonds at the London Paralympics in 2012, but has amazed those around her by how quickly she has reached the top. We follow her on her return home, as she shares her triumph with school friends, club mates and family. To commemorate the 950th anniversary of the Norman conquest, archaeologist Ben Robinson takes a lightning tour of eastern England and reveals how castles, cathedrals, town life and the class system were all Norman imports that shaped the way we lived then and the way we live now.
