Paul Jones meets Canadian harmonica player and singer-songwriter, Jordan Patterson, and features music from his 'comeback' album, The Back On Track Recording Project. When Jordan Patterson first emerged on the international blues scene in 1996 with his debut album, Give Me A Chance, he soon established himself as a force to be reckoned with. Almost overnight he had to make the change from being a blues fan to sharing a stage with his idols. These included Bobby Parker, Bobby Rush, Marcia Ball, Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy and James Cotton. But after a few exciting, but ultimately exhausting years on the touring circuit Jordan turned his back on the blues scene and instead embarked on a career in artist and touring management. And it was only after a decade spent managing tours for artists such as Britney Spears, Jack White and Lauryn Hill, that Jordan finally rediscovered his desire to write, perform and record once again. The result is his latest album, The Back On Track Recording Project, with a number of tracks from this featured on the show along with a look back to Jordan's 1996 debut, Give Me A Chance, plus music from James Cotton and U.P. Wilson.
