Film Day: Ron Howard on Inferno

Janice Forsyth tunes into what is happening in arts, culture and music across Scotland. Director Ron Howard discusses his much-anticipated thriller Inferno, starring Tom Hanks.

It's film day on The Janice Forsyth Show: legendary American Film -maker, Ron Howard discusses his new thriller, Inferno. It stars Two Time Oscar Winner TOM HANKS ('Bridge Of Spies', ''Forrest Gump') and it is the third in the 'Robert Langdon' series, each directed by Howard, based on a popular thriller novel by Dan Brown.

Regular Critics, Paul Gallagher & Eddie Harrison will share their thoughts on this week's other big cinema releases, including, American Honey - an American Road Movie from British filmmaker Andrea Arnold - who will also talk about the film!

They will also discuss Storks - the new animated film from the writer of Forgetting Sarah Marshall - it's about parenthood ... and corporate culture ... and work-life balance!

Later in the show, we'll hear about Before the Fall, the new novel from Noah Hawley, best known as Golden Globe Award-winning creator of the TV show "Fargo," and Loudon Wainwright the III will be on hand, talking about his UK Tour in Oct and Nov and his Latest album - Haven't Got the Blues. (Yet)
