Are the big six energy companies planning to drive smaller competitors out of the market by offering special deals to tempt switchers, and why has hiring a car become such a bind?
Four of the cheapest energy tariffs on the market are being offered by the Bix Six energy companies but they are only available to new customers. There are 40 odd newcomers who have eroded the six's share of the market from 98% to 88% since 2011 but have they got the wherewithal to survive a sustained onslaught from giant companies with big pockets?

How did a simple, convenient consumer boon become a source of such angst and complaint?
