The Application deadline for the EU scheme paying farmers to produce less milk is next week; one farmer in Northern Ireland is encouraging dairy farmers across the UK to get their forms in the post.
As we continue to look at the State of Nature report, an Oxfordshire farmer has an idea for encouraging wildlife across great swathes of the countryside; creating a vast wildlife corridor from Oxfordshire to Cornwall, by leaving hedgerows uncut, providing food and shelter for a variety of plants and animals.
