Harry Shearer delves deep into his vinyl collection to bring you an hour of carnival music and an hour of lesser know LA artists, from his home.

The Simpsons and Spinal Tap star has a vast record collection and a huge passion for music. He'll be looking back on 6 Music's carnival season and playing songs from New Orleans, Brazil and many others - introducing one of his favourite genres of music to a new audience.

He'll also pick an hour or music from Los Angeles based artists, who may be not know do well in the UK - showcasing the breadth of songwriting talent and musicianship on the west coast from the 60s to the present.
