A review of Blair Witch, sequel to The Blair Witch Project, plus actress Sarah Solemani talks about the new Bridget Jones film

Janice Forsyth has a review of Blair Witch, the new sequel to The Blair Witch Project, plus actress Sarah Solemani discusses playing Bridget Jones's friend in the third film.

It's movie review day on The Janice Forsyth Show: we'll discuss Blair Witch!

It's been 17 years since The Blair Witch Project, one of the most influential cult films in Hollywood history was released. A new sequel to the original horror classic will open nationwide on Friday - we'll review the film in the company of regular critics, Graeme Virtue & David Archibald.

They will also share their thoughts on this week's other big cinema releases: including The Infiltrator - starring Bryan Cranston in a real-life story of an undercover US Customs official on the trail of a Colombian drug lord, and the critically acclaimed NZ film "Hunt for The Wilderpeople" which won the Audience Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival earlier this year.

Later in the show, we'll hear about Sunny Afternoon, the hit West End musical and Winner of the 2015 Olivier Award for Best New Musical. It tells the captivating tale of how one of Britain's greatest bands, The Kinks, rose to stardom, and we'll have an extended interview about this year's Take One Action Film Festival with guests including Scottish Screenwriter, Paul Laverty and Spanish Director, Iciar Bollain

All that and much more , from two o'clock on Thursday, here on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland
