To complement Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4's season of Graham Greene dramas, former Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ West Africa correspondent, Mark Doyle, explores Graham Greene's relationship with West Africa - in particular his 1935 expedition to Liberia, and his time working for British Intelligence in Sierra Leone during the Second World War.

Greene's experiences inspired a travelogue, Journey Without Maps, and the novel The Heart of the Matter.
