Dr Waheed Arian fled war torn Afghanistan at the age of 15, and against all the odds, reached Cambridge UniversityΒ to study medicine. He now devotes his spare time to running a charity that helps UK doctors to teach and adviseΒ doctors in Afghanistan, using web-cam sessions and mobile phones.Β
