Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's Musical Chairs feature Billy highlights the career of the late Scottish guitarist John McGeoch, credited with being one of the most innovative and influential guitarists of the post-punk era, he played in a number of bands, most notably Magazine, Visage, Siouxsie and The Banshees and Public Image Limited and also worked with Sugarcubes, Midge Ure & Ultravox, Heaven 17, Richard Jobson and Generation X. The Live and Dangerous tracks are from the live album 'The Concert For Bangladesh'. In Movie Moment Billy's playing 'Once I was' by Tim Buckley from the 1978 movie 'Coming Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ' and in Classic Songwriters, there's tracks from the pen of Steve Earle.
