Janice talks fairy tales and sci-fi, plus folk trio the Wildings perform a section of their Bellany Suite

Janice previews the Andrew Lang Fairy Tale Festival, and reflects on the Adventures in Space exhibition at Glasgow's Lighthouse. Plus live music from folk trio the Wildlings.

Janice Forsyth is telling tall tales - and some she even think are true...

Yes she's away with the fairies as she previews the Andrew Lang Fairy Tale Festival in Selkirk... and the aliens as she ventures into outer space at The Lighthouse in Glasgow, where she reflects on Adventures in Space an exhibition exploring the link between sci-fi and architecture.

Chamber Music ain't all bad.

Oh no it isn't!

And oh yes you'll agree once Janice finds out about the Paxton Summer Festival of Chamber Music, which features dynamic folk trio - the Wildings - who perform a section from their Bellany Suite. Oh yes they will!

Take a miller. Take his daughter. Add a handsome, avaricious prince with a spinning wheel and Rumple Still-Skint has all the silliness you'd want from a summer panto.

And because it's Tuesday, Janice's panel of reviewers have been casting their eyes over Channel 4's new reality show Eden, Geoff Dyer's travelogue White Sands and their ears over The Avalanches' latest album Wildflower.
