Author and illustrator Judith Kerr has delighted and intrigued generations of children with her stories about 'Mog the Cat' and 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea'. Born in Berlin, she escaped with her family, just days before Hitler came to power and her semi-autobiographical book 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit' is a set text in German schools as it explains a terrible time in their history in a simple and straightforward manner.
