A High Court judge yesterday approved a settlement payment of £11m from Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust to a mother whose child was born with severe cerebral palsy after medical staff at the King George Hospital maternity unit in Essex failed to notice his slowing heartbeat during his mother's labour in 2007. Speaking on the programme is the child’s mother, who will remain anonymous, and Edwina Rawson, solicitor at Fieldfisher.
