Defending champion Djokovic secured his third Wimbledon title by beating seven-time winner Roger Federer in a repeat of the 2014 men's final.
Wiliams's victory over Spain's Garbine Muguruza - her sixth in south west London - saw her complete the so-called 'Serena Slam' - holding all four Grand Slam titles at the same time.
