Sid Griffin

Mark Radcliffe presents the show solo and is joined by Sid Griffin, who reviews Ray Foulk's new book, When the World Came to the Isle of Wight: The Last Great Event.

Mark Radcliffe is joined by our Resident Musicologist Sid Griffin who'll be reviewing Ray Foulk's new book When the World Came to the Isle of Wight: The Last Great Event. Ray was one of the organisers of the 1970 Isle Of Wight Festival, a five day event that featured performances by Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Sly and the Family Stone and The Doors. Sid will be delving into the history of one of the largest musical events of the period.

PLUS! What will feature on The Chain today? And who's going to be first to guess the link between all 3 records on Teatime Themetime? YOU DECIDE.
