Documentary series that goes behind the scenes at the airports across the Highlands and islands. In this episode, firefighters help board passengers with mobility difficulties.

In this programme, we travel to Oban Airport, which serves some of the west coast islands on alternate days. Today we visit Colonsay and Islay with pilot Julie Angel. However, the weather forecast is looking grim for the afternoon and it is uncertain if the second flight will be able to get out. Some of the morning passengers have difficult decisions to make, if they travel out for their
day's work, they risk not being able to get back.

At Sumburgh Airport in Shetland, the firefighters are helping to board passengers who have difficulty with mobility, using their Ambulift. And Avril Irvine has to face her worst fears as she heads off to the mainland for a big event.
