More than 30,000 non-EU students a year have their visas curtailed by the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Office in the past three years. The Â鶹ԼÅÄ Office said it was cracking down on immigration abuse. The authorities in Ohio say eight people have been shot dead in what they've described as execution-style killings. The victims all belong to the same family and include a child. Elections are rarely friendly affairs, but relations between the two leading candidates in London's mayoral race have become distinctly nasty. If a negative election campaign is one that seeks to discredit one's opponent, then both sides have been doing that to varying degrees. The Conservative candidate for mayor, Zac Goldsmith, has repeatedly accused the Labour MP for Tooting Sadiq Khan of "giving platforms and oxygen and even cover to people who are extremist". Mr Khan maintains that he has fought strongly against radical Islamists and has himself been a victim of their threats.
