Folk musician, record producer and composer John McCusker and his band are in session. From his days in the Battlefield Band, to now working with Mark Knopfler, Idelwild and others, John is celebrating 25 years in the business with a new album, a tour and a Radio 2 Folk Award.

And theatre: opening this week at The Tron in Glasgow is Blackout, which tells the stories of alcoholics and their road to recovery. Based entirely on interviews with recovering alcoholics (including the writer) this production is honest, brutal, uplifting and darkly comic.
