Following four women running their Highland estates and country houses. At the Auchlyne estate, Emma ploughs on with tradition. Nicola decides it is time she made some changes.
Lady Lairds follows the trials, tribulations and successes of four women over a year as they run their Scottish Highland estates and country houses.
Lady Laird Joanna continues to learn the ropes of how to run a Highland estate as she takes over the massive Attadale estate from her parents in Lochcarron, while the head stalker Tom decides that it is time to move on. At the Traquair estate in the Borders, Catherine hosts as many events as possible to keep the oldest inhabited house in Scotland running smoothly, and at the Auchlyne estate, Emma ploughs on with tradition hoping her prize-winning Highland cows come out on top at the Oban cattle show, while daughter Nicola decides it is time she made some changes.
