Fun of the Festival
This week, Science CafΓ© gets a sneak preview of the Bangor Science Festival - which has more than a whiff of Back To The Future about it this year.Β First there's the futuristic cars. Adam Walton talks to Ian Cook, who is something of an expert on electric cars and will be giving an interesting demonstration of how they might be used in the future during the festival.
We also hear from Prof Colin Jago, Dean of Bangor University's College of Natural Sciences, Β who helps us with some imaginary time travel, describing theΒ extreme climates of Wales thousands - and millions - of years ago. And we get an update from Llyr ap Cenydd, a developer of virtual reality software, on his Ocean Rift project. Very enchanting!
Full details of allΒ the events on offer can be foundΒ by following the festival link.Β
