It's film review day: we'll review High-Rise and hear from director Ben Wheatley

It's film review day. Director Ben Wheatley discusses his new film, High-Rise.

It's movie review day on The Janice Forsyth Show. Director Ben Wheatley discusses his highly anticipated adaptation of JG Ballard's High-Rise. Tom Hiddleston stars as the sharp-suited, proto-yuppie-ish antihero, Dr Robert Laing - a young doctor who is seduced by the lifestyle of a high-rise apartment building in which the residences get more expensive the higher up you go - ranging from the basic bottom floors to the wild opulence of the penthouse!

Regular critics Ian Hoey and Ross MacLean will share their thoughts on it and on this week's other big cinema releases including Marguerite - a French comedy of manners about a shameless chanteuse with a surplus of money and a shortage of talent(!) who buys her way into the spotlight, and the critically acclaimed 'home invasion' thriller Disorder, directed by Alice Winocour. The star of the film, Matthias Schoenarts, will also be on hand to tell us all about it.

Later in the show we'll have an hour devoted to architecture(!!) and the launch of The Festival of Architecture 2016 - with Hinterland as the headline event, we'll be on-site for a walk-round covering the site: its history and reactions to it as a place and a building. We'll also explore architecture in Scotland in the company of experts Neil Baxter and Jude Barbour.

Don't Miss it!
