Billy Sloan highlights the career of John Paul Jones, plus he plays a Real Thing track by the Clash and a Great Collaborations track by Average White Band and Ben E King.

Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's Musical Chairs, Billy highlights the career of musician, songwriter, composer and record producer John Paul Jones - of Led Zeppelin fame, solo career and collaborated with many artists including Rolling Stones, R.E.M., Them Crooked Vultures, Seasick Steve and Donovan. The Great Collaborations track features the Average White Band and Ben E. King and in The Real Thing it's 'Janie Jones' by The Clash (a song written by Joe Strummer and Mick Jones about a former pop singer and party hostess).
