Johnnie hears 70s memories from songwriter Tony Hazzard.

Johnnie Walker hears the seventies memories of songwriter Tony Hazzard.

Tony started playing the guitar and ukulele from an early age and began songwriting in the sixties, penning songs for the likes of The Hollies, Manfred Mann, Lulu and The Yardbirds. The decade saw him release solo albums including "Loudwater House" and "Was That Alright, Then?". He also worked as a session musician for various artists, including Elton John, working on Elton's "Elton John", "Tumbleweed Connection" and "Honky Chateau" albums.

Also on the show, Johnnie digs out some of the best of the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ archive, and another listener helps to add a classic seven-inch single into Johnnie's Jukebox.
