Film review day with a review of Freeheld, plus an interview with American actor Julianne Moore

It's film review day and American actor Julianne Moore talks about new film Freeheld, which is reviewed along with the Coen brothers' Hail, Caesar! and Bone Tomahawk.

It's movie review day on The Janice Forsyth Show - acclaimed American Actor, Julianne Moore will be on hand to discuss her new film, 'Freeheld' -which tells the story of Police officer Laurel Hester's fight against the Ocean County New jersey Board of Chosen Freeholders to allow her pension benefits to be transferred to her domestic partner after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Regular Critic, Alistair Harkness will share his thoughts on it and on the Glasgow Film Festival's Opening Gala film - The Coen Brothers's 'Hail, Caesar!' He will also give us his guide to the 'Best of the Fest'.

We will also review this week's big cinema releases in the company of Alison Rowat and Eddie Harrison: including 'Bone Tomahawk' - a gritty action-packed thriller chronicling a terrifying rescue mission in the Old West and The Finest Hours - an incredible tale of a daring sea rescue in 1952.

All that and Director John Hillcoat will tell us about his hotly anticipated, new 'heist' movie Triple 9, which stars recent BAFTA winner Kate Winslet Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck and Aaron Paul!

And Later in the show, we'll hear from not one but two legendary Scottish Directors - ahead of the Blu ray release of Comfort and Joy we'll hear from Bill Forsyth - reflecting on his early days of the Scottish film industry and Michael Caton- Jones discusses his new film Urban Hymn.
