Fiona Stalker is joined by award-winning photographer and film-maker Richard Else.

This week on Out for the Weekend, Fiona Stalker is joined by award-winning photographer and film maker Richard Else.
He's a writer, barrister and veterinarian but Charles Foster has also spent time living the life of various animals... from swimming with otters to burrowing with badgers, Charles will be giving Fiona the lowdown on just how extensively he carried out the research for his book Being a Beast... We get the latest on all things astronomical from our resident expert Steve Owens! Time is approaching fast for birds to find suitable nest for the breeding season and Sunday sees the start of National Nestbox Week. The British Trust for Ornithology's Hazel Evans will be giving Fiona plenty of tips... As we know Fiona is always keen to try out a new activity, well this week she definitely needed to be kitted out properly as she ventured into the world of Fencing... find out what happened when she spent an evening with the Aberdeen Fencing Club! And can you imagine placing a pin on Cumbernauld on a map and another on John O Groats. Now can you picture yourself actually running it? Well that's exactly what endurance runner Elspeth Luke did and she will be joining us on Out for the Weekend to tell the tale!
