Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. This weekend's Musical Chairs highlights the career of American band Sparks, formed by brothers Ron and Russell Mael, currently collaborating with Scottish band Franz Ferdinand under the name FFS and also collaborated with Giorgio Moroder, Morrissey, Jane Wiedlin, Beck, Faith No More, Erasure, Jimmy Somerville, Hot Chip and Emma Ray. The Live and Dangerous tracks are from Led Zeppelin from the album 'Celebration Day'. In Movie Moment Billy's playing 'If I Can't Have You' by Yvonne Elliman from the movie Saturday Night Fever and in Classic Songwriters, Billy plays tracks from the pen of the late American musician, singer and songwriter Lou Reed.
