Andrew Blades was a volunteer police officer who used his car to block the path of a group of young people riding off-road bikes around a housing estate. He said he was trying to protect a fellow officer -- BUT it was HIM who ended up with the criminal record for dangerous driving. Plus reaction from junior doctors as health secretary Jeremy Hunt imposes a new contract on medics.
