Cheryl James was just 18 years old when her life was cut short.

Six months into an Army career the teenager from Llangollen was found dead with a single gunshot wound to the head while on guard duty at the Deepcut training barracks in Surrey in 1995.

More than 20 years on, questions about Cheryl's death still remain for her family. Instead of enjoying his retirement, her father Des James has spent the past weeks preparing for second inquest into his daughter's death.

On the eve of that hearing, Eye on Wales traces the chain of events that has lead the James family back to a coroner's court two decades after Cheryl's untimely death.
