Bob's career started in the late 1970s as the lead singer of the new wave group The Boomtown Rats. Alongside a solo music career, he is also a political activist, responsible for organising Live Aid in 1985.
He speaks to Russell about his art and personal life, alongside a soundtrack inspired by his career.
