David Attenborough searches for Scottish election policies, plus an interview with the Forth Road Bridge
News satire with Lewis Macleod. David Attenborough searches for Scottish election policies, the Forth Road Bridge is interviewed and a non-David Bowie fan becomes a social outcast.
Wired News is a contemporary topical news satire starring Lewis Macleod. After a successful pilot and a Commonwealth Games Special in 2014, Lewis and the Wired News team are back for a new series on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland. Lewis will be playing a heightened version of himself as the host of our mock news show 'Wired News'. He will be joined once again by fictional female co-host Anita Corduroy, played by Gabriel Quigley. Their on-air chemistry is notoriously recognisable, and their clenched teeth banter between stories hides a truly hateful relationship - basically the perfect radio presenting combo!
The show will focus its satirical attention this week on the lack of activity from the main parties in the run up to the Scottish Parliamentary Elections, the Forth Road Bridge speaks out after another week of having its integrity questioned, and Kirsty Wark interviews Kirsty Wark on the future of Scottish broadcasting.
