Russell Davies interviews legends of music, art, comedy and film. This week Russell meets crime writer Martina Cole.

Growing up in Essex, Martina worked in a variety of jobs, from a cleaner to a supermarket shelf-stacker, before her breakthrough novel "Dangerous Lady" in 1991. She has now been acknowledged as the queen of crime drama and has sold in excess of 14 million copies.

She speaks to Russell about her art, alongside a soundtrack inspired by her career.
