Simon welcomes debut author Naomi Williams to the Radio 2 Book Club to discuss her new novel, Landfalls.
When LapΓ©rouse leaved France in 1785 with two ships under his command, he sets sail for King and country on a voyage of scientific and geographical discovery - but every person on board has their own hopes, ambitions, dreams and fears. As the ships move across vast distances during their four years at sea, different characters step forward and invite us, one by one, into their world.
We'll also have our first Confession of the week and play your oldies, plus Matt Williams has the latest sport and Rebecca Pike brings us the money news.
