Johnnie hears 70s memories from Alan Williams, known for his work with the Rubettes.

Johnnie Walker hears the seventies memories from Alan Williams, known for his work with The Rubettes during the decade.

Alan joined The Rubettes in the early seventies and saw the group go from session musicians to chart toppers with "Sugar Baby Love". After knocking ABBA's "Waterloo" off the No. 1 spot in the UK, they went on to have numerous hits during the decade including "Jukebox Jive" and "I Can Do It". Alan remembers this time and picks some of this favourite seventies songs.

Also on the show, Johnnie digs out some of the best of the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ archive, and another listener helps to add a classic seven-inch single into Johnnie's Jukebox.
