Here's to Helen Titchener! But Joe doesn't feel like celebrating.
Helen seems nervous on the day of the new Bridge Farm shop's grand opening, although she is rather excited. She assures Rob she's fine as he reminds her of how to stay calm and points out that they can't have her getting stressed - he gets Pat to watch over her. Rob's miffed with Harrison and Fallon moving their bits and pieces into the cafΓ© area - today of all days. It's junk, in his eyes, not fitting with his contemporary vision, although Pat points out they have lots of interesting items. Pat's full of praise for Rob, who has been tapped up for a meeting at the company Helen suggested for him. Helen speaks at the gathering and then Rob surprises her with a speech of his own, raising a toast to Helen Titchener.
Joe's disappointed at the number of turkeys they've sold - and worried about their lack of facilities for preparing them. During a very emotional conversation, Clarrie and Eddie break it to Joe that there won't be room for him to join them in the flat they're moving into - he'll need to go into a home over Christmas. Clarrie tries to reassure Joe he'll be ok and get a decent dinner. Joe sadly accepts the situation.
