Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. This weekend's Musical Chairs highlights the career of musician Billy Preston, solo career and associated with many artists including Joe Cocker, The Beatles, Stephen Stills, John Lennon and the Rolling Stones. In Movie Moment Billy's playing 'The End' by The Doors from the movie Apocalypse Now, the Live and Dangerous tracks come from The Rezillos ('Top of the Pops' and 'Ballroom Blitz') and in Classic Songwriters, Billy plays tracks from the pen of American singer/songwriter and producer Gregg Alexander (best known as the frontman of The New Radicals).
