Edward Gregson, one of the most distinguished voices in the band world, celebrates his seventieth birthday in conversation with Frank Renton.

Edward Gregson is one of the most distinguished voices in the band and the wider music world. As he celebrates his 70th birthday he looks back on his early and continuing passion for music education which took him to the very top of the Royal Northern College of Music. We also hear about his special relationship with Black Dyke and his writing for the Royal Shakespeare Company as Frank Renton presents some of the finest brass writing in the repertoire.
