Bird Friendly Poles -- Special power lines are being fitted in parts of Wales to protect birds of prey. In May this year, an osprey was killed on the edge of the Mynydd Hiraethog area of Conwy county borough when his wings touched high voltage lines. So wildlife enthusiasts in several parts of North and Mid Wales have been working with the power company to make overhead electric lines safer. Juicing ApplesΒ -- John and Margaret Morris live on a small family farm in Crickhowell and using apples sourced from local orchards they're producing over thirty different to suit every taste. This time of year it's very busy with the ongoing picking and producing in their converted barn at Graig Farm, to keep up with increasing and even Royal demand.
