Janice Forsyth presents a tribute to the late Michael Marra who died in October 2012, known as the Bard of Dundee. Songwriter, singer, painter, poet and actor Michael's life is charted by the people who knew him best, his family. They reminisce about Michael's early years in Dundee to recording in London for a major record label to his career back home writing and recording his own brand of music fusing his love of folk and rock'n'roll, alongside his theatrical career. The programme is interspersed with archive of Michael Marra and examples of his music.
