Comedian Noel Fielding, Back to the Future Day and the Dundee International Book Prize winner

Janice celebrates the anniversary of Back to the Future, comedian Noel Fielding talks about his new tour, and the winner of the Dundee International Book Prize is announced.

Today the Janice Forsyth Show marks 'Back to the Future Day' 21st October 2015, the day Marty McFly and Doc travelled forward to in Back to the Future II. BTTF fan Hannah McGill joins Janice to mark the day, plus we'll hear director Robert Zemeckis' reminiscences about the film.

John le Carre, who has just turned 84, is one of the world's best-selling authors but little is known of his life. There have been attempts to write his biography before now but none of them made it to publication. Now the author has co-operated with Adam Sisman to write the story of his life. Adam will be in studio with Janice to discuss his book.

Having first hit our screens in 2004 as one half of the cult hit, TV series, The Mighty Boosh, Noel Fielding talks about touring his latest stand up show, An Evening with Noel Fielding.

As a new stage adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's famous novel, Rebecca, tours Scotland director Emma Rice discusses her approach to the dark psychodrama and looks ahead to taking up her position as the new Artistic Director of The Globe in London.

North East Scotland's SOUND festival showcases new music - from contemporary classical to electro-acoustic, improvised, experimental and jazz music. It opens tomorrow and we'll hear more from the Fiona Robertson, festival director, and John Harris of the Red Note ensemble which is taking part.

And the winner of the Dundee International Book Prize will be announced live on the show.
