The Rat-catchers of Yonville

Comedy trio Peepolykus upend classic fiction: in provincial France, a pair of vermin controllers seek their fortune. From 2015.

In 19th-century provincial France, a pair of vermin controllers seek their fortune.

Arriving in the market town of Yonville, things start to go wrong when their rat-catching kit goes missing and then when they find themselves entangled in the marital woes of the town's doctor.

The comedy troupe Peepolykus assume the roles of minor characters in great works of fiction and derail the plot of the book through their hapless buffoonery.
