Why conventional and organic farmers are turning innovative ideas into practical solutions. The idea has grown out of the Soil Association's field labs, where groups of farmers worked together to come up with and test ideas. Now LEAF, Linking Environment and Farming and Innovation in Agriculture are joining to form a network which aims to have Β£800,000 to fund farmer based research over the next 5 years.
Also, Sally Challoner reports from the World Expo in Milan, which looks at food and the way we produce and use it.
Heritage groups from different parts of England report that illegal metal detecting - or nighthawking - is robbing us of our chance to examine the past and causing damage to landowners' property. Presented by Charlotte Smith and produced by Mark Smalley.
