Sally Magnusson visits The Royal Yacht Britannia. For 44 years, before it was decommissioned, the ship served as a home from home for the Queen on her many state tours. The ship is now docked in Edinburgh and is open to the public.

David Grant finds out about the song’s Christian roots.Μύ Stand By Me is one of the best-selling songs of the 20thΜύcentury. Co-written by Christian singer Ben E King, we reveal its origins as a gospel song β€œLord Stand By Me”. Ben E King had a strong background in church music. He pushed The Drifters to record the song originally, but the group’s manager rejected it. This year, The Drifters have recorded the song, as a homage to Ben E King in the year he died.
